Agricultural Repairs

For example, a complete under floor chassis re-structure & new aluminium chequer plate floor on horse box trailer.

Food & Dairy

Pallet for moving food products around in a 'clean environment' This was designed specifically around the Companies existing food handling system.

A complete stainless steel mobile 'Pig Roasting Oven' designed and built by Sprite Manufacturing Ltd. This is now one of a fleet for this highly successful East Midlands based company.

A reputable independent producer of blended cheeses required a new 'Cheese Vat'. The design needed a very precise and exacting specification to meet the strict hygiene requirements. We designed a completely 'warp-free' fully sealed Vat on a box section 'skeleton' with folded corners.

We were also commissioned to make a heated 'Mini Vat' for a dairy to make small batches of new styles of cheeses and test them without the need to make, and potentially waste, a full sized vat of cheese.

Aircraft Engineering

The Oil Filter Collection/Containment Trailer is an all-Stainless-Steel construction, built to a high specification for a well known, British-based petroleum company.

Health & Safety

The sluice gate wheel was produced for a waterways authority in direct response to solve a safety issue. The river authority was concerned about the safe operation of its 'Z' profile handle for sluice-gate operation. If a gate handle slipped from the operator under load, it could rotate backwards suddenly and cause serious injury.

Sprite Manufacturing solved the problem by producing a spoked wheel with 'Lead-outs' on shaped spokes. Now if the operator lost grip on the wheel, the design would guide the hand down, out and away from danger.

When the local council decided that a single wooden bar was not an acceptable way of separating a public footpath from vehicular traffic, Sprite Manufacturing Ltd designed & produced bespoke railings to provide a safer option.
